Beyond the bars, Ku has proudly invested in the arts, helping to bring authentic queer stories to the stage and screen.

In partnership with Making Productions, Ku has supported a range of LGBTQ+ theatre and film projects, ensuring queer voices continue to be seen, heard and celebrated.

Ku has also backed award-winning short films including Blueberry Smoothie and Glitched, both exploring love, identity and queer experience in powerful new ways. Through this ongoing commitment, Ku has helped preserve LGBTQ+ history, champion diversity and create inclusive spaces for artists to tell their stories with authenticity and pride.

Over the years, this collaboration has funded ten productions — including acclaimed plays such as Outlaws to In-Laws, Jerker and Coming Clean, alongside bold reimaginings like Opera Undone: La Bohème and Tosca.
